Alright everyone, here is the very first episode of our Android Development Video Tutorial Series. In this episode I cover the process of setting up an eclipse Android development environment on a windows operating system. Actually this is pretty basic stuff, but nevertheless quite helpful for those who didn’t get in touch with Android yet.

Thank you so much! You do an excellent job with these tutorials. Are they perhaps available in a Video Podcast format that I could put on my iPod Touch?

Thanks Byron! The tutorials are currently not available in a video podcast format. This is an interesting suggestion, though. I will have to check with my video hoster, if they offer the functionality for providing multiple video formats.

I’ve now watch the first eleven tutorials (all there is now), and I strongly recommend these to beginners of developing Android Apps.
